Restore Hope Sunday

The purpose of our Restore Hope Sunday event is to consistently reach those in need, specifically in the city of Atlanta. According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 9,499 people are experiencing homelessness on any given day in the state of Georgia.

While this number is not astronomical, an estimated 7,000 of those people are located in Georgia’s Capital. This means Atlanta makes up 74% of the states homeless population. Restore Hope Sunday allows us to give a glimpse of hope to those in need.

On the last Sunday of each month we distribute lunch sacks and hygiene kits in the downtown metro Atlanta area. These efforts allow us to feed those that otherwise may not see a meal in days, sometimes longer. Our volunteers, donors and sponsors are greatly appreciated for their contribution which helps us accomplish our goals.

Restore, Empower, Unite Social Affair

February 2019 introduced our first annual social affair. This complimentary event was created to recognize the efforts of Kingdom’s Restoration, while celebrating an evening of community networking and empowerment.

A memorable highlight from the evening was a presentation from our Vice President sharing the foundation and history of Kingdom’s Restoration. Testimonials from applicants were also shared explaining the positive impact made in their lives. The evening concluded with an hour of socializing and networking that produced an atmosphere of community awareness.

We look forward to sharing this empowering social affair with many more in years to come.
